PROFESSIONAL LANDSCAPING

Incorporated in 2014, Capers West is a landscape construction company specializing in residential and small commercial landscaping projects. We work with our clients on existing landscapes to help them rejuvenate their property. Our team enjoys solving problems throughout people’s yards, whether it be grading away from buildings or retaining grades to best suit a client’s needs. Our Calgary landscapers are always eager to help and enjoy the feeling of accomplishment at the end of a job.

As a general rule, clients often ask how to make their yards into low maintenance landscapes. This being said, we are also often asked to create entertainment areas including: patios, fire pits, retaining walls, walkways and other hardscaped areas to reduce grass areas within the property. By creating these areas, we reduce maintained turf areas and provide places for our clients to entertain friends and family.  Every part of a landscape has a simple purpose broken down into roughly three parts; maintained areas, low maintenance (hardscaped areas) and tree/shrub/flower bed garden areas.

While we do build formal/modern landscapes, we more often than not specialize in informal projects with lot of curves in our garden beds and retaining walls and patio systems.  We specialize in brick paver patios, walkways and precast stone walls. At Capers West, we have been doing brick work of all kinds for over 15 years. We have also built many walls with pressure treated lumber and even galvanized steel baskets called Gabion walls or wire wall systems.
